Electrical faults are the one category where waiting is genuinely risky. A breaker that trips repeatedly, a socket that feels warm, or a light that flickers under load are all telling you something. None of them fix themselves.
Electrical Repairs & Fault Finding
Tracing and fixing faults, dead circuits and repeated tripping.
A breaker that keeps tripping is doing its job — it is reporting a fault. The common causes are an overloaded circuit, a failing appliance, deteriorated wiring, or moisture reaching a connection. Repeatedly resetting it without finding out which removes your protection while leaving the problem in place.
We test systematically to isolate the circuit and the cause, then quote the repair. Guesswork in electrical work is both expensive and unsafe.
Signs you need this
A breaker or RCD that trips repeatedly
Sockets or switches that are warm to the touch
Lights dimming when an appliance starts
Burning smell near a socket or the DB board
Dead sockets or a circuit with no power
A mild tingle when touching an appliance — stop using it and call immediately
What the job includes
Systematic circuit testing and fault isolation
Written quote before repair
Repair and safety verification
Typical time on site: Fault finding 1–2 hours. Most repairs the same visit.
New circuits, extensions and full rewiring of older properties.
Older UAE properties were often wired for a fraction of the electrical load a modern household places on them. Add air conditioning, a water heater, a washer-dryer and a kitchen full of appliances to a system designed decades ago and the wiring becomes the weak point.
We install new circuits, extend existing ones and carry out full rewiring, with cable sized to the actual load rather than the minimum that will pass.
What the job includes
Load assessment before design
Correctly sized cable and protection
New circuits or complete rewiring
Making good after installation
Testing and certification
Typical time on site: Individual circuits: half a day. Full rewire: several days.
Distribution board replacement, RCD protection and circuit labelling.
The distribution board is where your electrical safety actually lives. Older boards frequently lack residual current protection, which is the device that interrupts the supply fast enough to prevent an electric shock from being fatal.
Upgrading gives you proper RCD protection, correctly rated breakers, capacity for additional circuits, and a board where every circuit is labelled — which matters enormously the day something goes wrong.
Signs you need this
An old board with rewireable fuses rather than breakers
Indoor, outdoor and architectural lighting, including LED conversion.
Converting older halogen and fluorescent fittings to LED reduces electricity consumption substantially and removes a significant heat load from air-conditioned rooms, which the cooling system was otherwise paying to remove.
We install ceiling and recessed lighting, outdoor and landscape lighting, and can rework circuits for switching and dimming arrangements that were not part of the original design.
What the job includes
Fitting supply or installation of fittings you provide
Wiring, switching and dimmer installation
LED conversion of existing fittings
Outdoor and weatherproof installations
Typical time on site: Most jobs completed in a single visit.
Adding, moving and replacing sockets, switches and fixed appliances.
Extension leads daisy-chained across a room are the visible symptom of a property with too few sockets. Adding properly installed outlets where you actually need them is inexpensive and removes a real fire risk.
We also install and connect fixed appliances — water heaters, cookers, extractors — where a dedicated circuit is needed rather than a plug.
